Ryan and Zach rejoin the program to wax  intellectual about all things football from "Will the Vikes keep JJ and Kirk?" to whether or not the Chiefs have lost their edge to whether or not there is a great team in the league. The pod also takes many twists and turns from Joe Flacco's HOF resume to Ryan's unwillingness to apologize to the Detroit Lions. Plus Dad talk where we give an ode to Mom's everywhere but most notably the ones who still pursue their athletic dreams. Ty went ice fishing and caught himself a big one. Tim stayed home and did nothing except catch himself a cold. Ty and Tim discuss the current state of weather in Minnesota and then discuss the new flag. The 4th Annual NFL Festivus Pod

We get into the Festivus spirit once again with annual Airing of Grievances which takes us from football all the way to Dad Talk. As much as we like football, there are a lot of things that need fixing. From officiating to Thursday Night games to St. Paul parking to McDonald's, no one is safe. We think the movie was made for a carton of Marlboros but man is it enjoyable. We look at the fact that real gang members were asked to be in the movie as extras to mysterious and unceremonious exit of Fox 30 minutes into the movie and why we shouldn't like Ajax but for some reason can't stop watching him. NFL Recap Week 14: End of Bill, Crying Chiefs and Good/Bad Vikings

It's a wild week for the pod recap as the teams are falling apart. The Chiefs are crying and complaining and have officially become the villians of the NFL. We break down the silliness of their claims. We also talk about the murky playoff pictures in both conferences. We then get to news that this might be it for Belichick in New England. We finally fix the tech issues with Ty and we get him on the Pod just in time to watch Jon Rahm take the money and run to LIV. Pro golf is unscrupulous and we have come to find out that there are no good guys in the matter. We chat up everything from pro golf to hole in one insurance before getting to our football picks. NFL Week 13 Recap: Special CFP Edition

The guys have a robust break down of the final College Football Playoff breakdown, We try to figure our if they got it right. I make the case for Florida State but it might have fallen on deaf ears. We then move to Green Bay with the recent Packers run of success. Are they back? Maybe so.  We move to Dad Talk where I have a big problem with the current trend of people walking around in public covered in blankets. That and so much more.

Peak Cinema: Little Women (2019)

The classic Louisa May Alcott novel was adapted for the 80th time on screen and this time, I think they actually nailed it. (They being Greta Gerwig) The 2019 hit staring Emma Watson, Florence Pugh and Saoirse Ronan take this story down some new paths while still staying pretty true to the original source material. Lauren gushes, Ryan drinks egg nog and almost weeps and I found myself swept up the beauty of a chick flick. A lot to break down so enjoy.

NFL Recap: Reich Fired, Bills Tumble, League Issues

Ryan comes in hot to the podcast still fuming over the Ohio State loss to Michigan. He refuses to apologize to Michigan demands heads to roll at the Horseshoe. Zach calms him down with his usual reassuring tone and then helps us get on track talking about the firing of Frank Reich in Carolina. Who's next there and who's next to be fired. We then get into a discussion on what ails the league through over legislation of the rules to bad quarterback play. We finish with Dad Talk and the demise of Black Friday
