In the latest installment of the "Diet Pod," I embarked on a solo journey through a variety of compelling and controversial topics, captivating listeners with a succinct 30-minute exploration. Ok, that might be overstating it but who cares? I began by candidly reflecting on the conclusion of a demanding season as a weary speech coach, emphasizing the importance of taking time to rejuvenate. Transitioning seamlessly, I delved into the onset of the baseball season, particularly highlighting early apprehensions surrounding the performance of the Twins. Notably, I dissected the alarming trend of pitching injuries plaguing the league, offering potential explanations for this phenomenon. As the episode progressed, I shifted gears to the dangerous waters of a man talking about women's sports, specifically of women's college basketball, contemplating whether emerging star Caitlin Clark might be the beacon of hope for women's professional basketball.

Ryan has the pick this week and he picks "The Favourite" starring Olivia Coleman and Emma Stone. Ryan is by his own account "A Messy Bitch" which is why he loves it so much. It's gossipy. It's funny and full of all sorts of debauchery. I must say this film surprised me with how much I liked it. I hope you like it as well.

We also discuss the lack of immaturity in Baltimore. We finish with another great installment of Dad Talk

The Podcast
This podcast is a labor of love where I like to sit down and talk with people I know and get their thoughts and ideas on a wide array of topics. It's mostly sports because sports are still fun for me but I'll venture around as the mood strikes me. As I get older, this pod has become a way for me to stay in touch with friends and connect with people at a time where we couldn't be more disconnected.
