Regular guy Tim Anderson (Not the shortstop for the White Sox) goes on weekly dives into the world of sports, culture and life. During the football season, you will hear weekly wrap ups featuring Tim and his regular guests Ryan and Zach. Several other characters will make appearances as the year goes along. Tim will branch off to talk golf and pro wrestling away from regular sports as well. He will also bring in resident film experts like Lauren to break down the classics in cinema. Ty and I are back for a late night mid week pod. We start by celebrating the first win the career of Sam Burns and while that was nice, we couldn't help but feel like we were the doldrums of the season. We quickly turned our focus to the PGL stuff that has come back into the news and broke down the merits or lack thereof of that. Finally, we make our picks for this week. I'm in a slump and need a big week.

Part 2 of the draft stream gets off with a big start after the Bears traded for Justin Fields. We provided instant reactions. Then we meander through the rest of the draft which included Ryan being all in his feelings over the Vikings, Zach working through a bottle of Knob Creek and me pounding pistachios. We even find time to discuss the merits of Prince. Lots happening in part 2.

The Masters is in the rearview mirror and it Hideki who takes the Green Jacket. Ty and I are talking everything Augusta from the winner to the disappointments (Xander, Bryson etc) We also talk about Ty's blood game with his besties that resulted in the early candidate for shot of the year. We then turn our attention to the RBC Heritage and examine what will be an iron players delight to watch. More golf is needed in our lives

Lauren called an audible this week after watching Zack Snyder's Justice League and demanded we look at the 1989 blockbuster Batman starring Jack Nicholson (He insisted on top billing) and Michael Keaton. The film sets off a whole new way to look at the super hero genre for better or for worse. We break it down from every angle and hash out whether the criticism people had and still have for Keaton is justified. Plus we hit all the usual categories and Ryan eats a banana cream pie. What more do you want?

Flying solo this week so we opted for quick podcast. It's been a wild few weeks of NFL offseason stuff so the boys and I felt it was time to look at it all and reflect from an NFC North lens. We take a look at some mock draft steam and then take a deep dive into the NFC North to try and solve the puzzle that is the Bears off season. Have the Lions improved? Are the Vikings a threat? Are the Packers poised to get back to the NFC title game and lose to Tom? We answer most of that over the next 90 minutes so enjoy.

This podcast is a labor of love where I like to sit down and talk with people I know and get their thoughts and ideas on a wide array of topics. It's mostly sports because sports are still fun for me but I'll venture around as the mood strikes me. As I get older, this pod has become a way for me to stay in touch with friends and connect with people at a time where we couldn't be more disconnected.
