The pinnacle of pro wrestling comes back for the 39th time this weekend so Dr. Derek and I thought we could sit down and look back at some of our favorite matches of all time. It's a mostly nostalgia trip for us but we take a few minutes to talk about this year's event and throw some shade at the worst matches in Wrestlemania's past before celebrating what we believe to be out 10 favorite of all time. Podpourri with Ryno: Oscar Talk,90’s Talk, Politics Talk, NFL Talk

I'm heading out of town for a couple of days and wanted to chat about a myriad of topics with Ryno including the fact that we live in a world where Brendan Fraser has an Oscar. We then talk about Chuck Klosterman's book The Nineties and some of the political theories that come from that book. ( I recommend the book) This takes down a few different paths before finishing with a robust NFL conversation at about the 55 minute mark. Enjoy

It had been a few weeks since we all got together and had a sit down. We decided we needed to look at all of the rule changes we are observing in the XFL and MLB and see if there are any additional rule changes we could suggest. From football to hockey we offer many solid suggestions so enjoy.

Peak Cinema: Jurassic Park

Dinosaurs might actually have been alive when we started to record this pod. It took a few weeks, some new equipment, some editing and full retake but we are here to present the latest installment of Peak Cinema. Jurassic Park from 1993 might be the most watchable film of the 30 years. We talk about it through an economic lens wondering if this was capitalism run amok. Was John Hammond a Walt Disney like figure and is Jeff Goldblum (Ian Malcolm) Proving his Chaos Theory by being the voice of reason in room full of scientists, blood sucking lawyers and rich people? We couldn't even talk about it all. We might need a part two down the road.

Podpourri w/Ryno: Best/Worst Presidents, The Death of All-Star Games, Bieniemy

We are snowed in. Ryno and I have all the time in the world to break down the world around us. We talk best/worst presidents in US History. This creates a robust discussion of the executive branch. We then jump to the disaster of the NBA All-Star Game. We then get Ryan's thoughts on Patrick Mahomes and the genius of Andy Reid before finishing with a discussion on why Eric Bieniemy hasn't been hired as an NFL coach. Lot going on. Enjoy

Zach and I gather for a Valentine's Day edition of the podcast. We recap the big game and examine the early legacy of Patrick Mahomes. Tim issues another apology to Jalen Hurts as he continues to prove him wrong. We talk grass field conspiracy theories as well before switching to baseball.
