Ty and Tim’s Golf-A-Palooza Pod

Ty and I needed to catch up after a month of golf and travel. We have played so much golf together and apart that we needed to get together and document it all for you. We Talked about our treks to some private tracks in the great state of Minnesota. Hazeltine and Olympic Hills did not disappoint. We then made plans for the 3M Open and broke down Brian Harman's historic albeit boring win at The Open. Plus, Major Grades, Golf Faux Pas', and so much more!

Podpourri:Kirk,NFL Uniforms,Northwestern,GOP Presidential Race

We covered a lot on Tuesday and yet we had so much more to say so Ryan and I are back again to talk about the Netflix series where Kirk Cousins seems to be the breakout star. We then talk about the new Vikings throwback jersey which looks awesome and we decide to branch out further and talk about all of the throwback jerseys we like and just how much we need to return to the traditional looks.  We then hit on the issues at Northwestern and just how the "Tough Guy" cultures always seems to be about the wrong things. We finally finish with a handicapping of the GOP Presidential candidates. We acknowledge the bias on the front end but it's a good discussion on whether anyone can dethrone Fmr. President Trump for the nomination.

Podpourri: NFL RB’s, Actors Strike, Taylor Swift, Jason Aldean

Ryno and I have a lot to talk about and we couldn't squeeze it all in. We start with the state of NFL RB's and their lack of long term contracts. We use that to springboard into the latest writers/actors strike and what that might mean for the future of America. We then talk about the phenomenon of Taylor Swift and her "Era's Tour" Where does she rank in the pantheon of pop artists? (That got heated) We then close with the latest Jason Aldean video (This might be the only time he comes up on this podcast.

Couch Session with Ryno

The 4th of July holiday is over minus the continuation of morons setting off fireworks. Ryan has finally stopped smoking meat and mac and cheese long enough to talk with me on the pod. We hit on some of the latest political news and what that could mean going forward before finishing the pod with some sports curse conversation. We even play a game of name the Browns Qbs. Zach rejoins the pod after a long hiatus to talk baseball mostly. We then touch on the situation in Oakland and wax nostalgia about those great A's teams of the late 80's and 90's. We also talk about who else could be getting an expansion baseball team. A fun baseball pod.

We cover a lot of ground on this podcast starting with our reaction to the Titan Submarine situation and it's sad but predictable conclusion. This ties in to Ryan and I's continuing discussion around money and how the divide between haves and have nots continues to widen. We then talk Oakland A's and whether or not it's too little too late for the fans of Oakland. We even touch on the state of British politics and how their situation in many ways mirrors ours. We finish by getting excited for our fantasy football draft in a few months
